04-22-10 Arrest for Vehicular Manslaughter in deaths of two pedestrians on Parkcenter.
  Boise, April 22, 2010 - Boise Police today arrested a man and charged him with felony vehicular manslaughter in connection with the deaths of two pedestrians, James and Mary Woychick, on E. Parkcenter Blvd. last August 19, 2010 (see news release dated 8-19-10 at www.boisepolice.org).
 
  Arrested: John William Tiemann, 60, Boise
   Charge: Felony Vehicular Manslaughter
 

   Officers arrested the suspect this afternoon after a detailed investigation led by the Boise Police Violent Crimes Unit in cooperation with the Ada County Prosecutors Office. The suspect is scheduled for arraignment on the felony charges in 4th District Court tomorrow, Friday, April 23rd. Any further information will be made public by the Ada County Prosecutors Office or public court proceedings.

18-4007.Punishment for manslaughter. Manslaughter is punishable as follows:
(3)  Vehicular -- in the operation of a motor vehicle:
(b)  For a violation of section 18-4006(3)(b), Idaho Code, by a fine of not more than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000), or by a sentence to the custody of the state board of correction not exceeding fifteen (15) years, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
