03-09-10 Stolen Wallet - Officers Seek Woman who may have Info

Have you seen this woman? She may have info about the theft of a wallet from a grocery store.

Boise, Mar. 9, 2010 - Boise Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman who may have information about the theft of an elderly gentleman's wallet from a grocery store recently.

The theft occurred February 24th from a retail store on Fairview Ave. An elderly gentleman left the wallet on a counter while bagging his items. When he went to pick up the wallet, it was gone. The wallet contained several hundred dollars in cash.

Detectives say the woman in the photos was apparently near the gentleman in the check out line and may have information about the theft. The woman was with a young girl who appeared to be between 4 and 6 years old. Also attached in a photo of her vehicle, which appears to be a silver SUV with a sun roof.

If anyone knows who the woman in the photos is, Boise Police property crimes detectives ask that they call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto www.343cops.com, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236.
