Arrested: Thomas J. Williams, 21, Boise
Charges: Possession of marijuana (m), Frequenting a place where drugs are used (m)
 
Arrested: John R. Riddle, 22, Boise
Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia (m), Frequenting a place where drugs are used (m)
 
The Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officer for the Broadway area recently heard from a concerned neighbor about a house on the 1300 blk of S. Division where the residents were reportedly having loud parties that would disrupt the neighborhood.
 
Further investigation by the Neighborhood Contact Officer revealed evidence that drugs were being used in the home.
 
Wednesday, March 3rd at approx 1:25 p.m., Boise Police served a search warrant on the house. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found inside the home. Two people, including one resident of the home (Riddle) were arrested. Two others were cited on drug charges and released.

Arrested: Marco L. Romero, 26, Middleton, ID
Charges: Felon in possession of a firearm (F), Possession of drug paraphernalia (m), driving without privileges (m)
 
A Boise Police officer on patrol last night at approx 10:30 p.m. in the area of Fairview & Hilton spotted a car driving with a headlight out. The officer made a traffic stop on the vehicle. While the vehicle was stopped, a man in the passenger seat got out of the car and ran. An immediate area search by officers did not locate him.
 
The driver of the vehicle was identified as the suspect, Romero. As officers approached the car, they could see drug paraphernalia in plain view. Romero was found to be driving with a suspended driver's license. Officers found Romero was on felony probation. His probation officer responded to the scene and found Romero to be in possession of a semi-automatic handgun, a felony. Romero was arrested on the above charges and taken to the Ada County Jail. Officers continue to investigate the passenger of Romero's car who ran off.
