    Arrested: Derek C. Davis, 38, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m)

    Boise Police observed a vehicle speeding and swerving within its lane almost striking the curb, early Friday (March 5th) just after midnight as it travelled eastbound on Overland. Officers stopped the driver at Overland and Roosevelt. The suspect, who appeared to be under the influence at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. Officers recovered a small amount of marijuana from the vehicle.  A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Winston R. Harrison, 29, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

    Boise Police observed a vehicle swerving within its lane early Sunday morning (March 7th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers stopped the driver at 13th and Ressiguie. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .24/.24 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI, making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Salvatore A. Polotto, 25, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Probation Violation charges

    Boise Police responded to a welfare check on a subject in the alley behind 4th and Main early Sunday morning (March 7th) just after midnight. As officers conducted that investigation, the suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, drove up to the scene. The man failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI, making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Jonathan D. Davila, 18, Nampa

   Charges:Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Sunday (March 7th) at approximately 3:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

   Warrant Arrested: Angela T. Mullaney, 40, Ketchum 

   Warrant Charges:Grand Theft by Possession (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft by Possession Friday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into stolen checks taken from a Boise business in July of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the crime. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
