  Arrested: Brett A. Smith, 38, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F), Battery (m)

    Boise Police responded to a fight at a business on the 3000 block of North Lake Harbor Saturday (March 27th) at approximately 9:00 p.m. The victim states he had been involved in a verbal argument with the suspect over a business matter. At one point, the victim states the suspect shoved him into a wall and to the ground resulting in the battery charge. According to the victim, the suspect then lunged at him with a screwdriver in an attempt to stab the victim, resulting in the Aggravated Assault charge. The victim tells police he was able to avoid the attack and lock himself inside a room and call 911. Officers located the suspect outside the building. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Flores Gustavo A. Rodriguez, 22, Ontario OR

   Charges: Battery on an Officer (F), Resisting and Obstructing (m)

    Boise Police responded to a domestic battery call at a bar on the 3000 block of North Lake Harbor Saturday (March 27th) at approximately 1:30 a.m. As officers conducted that investigation the suspect, later identified as Florez Gustavo Rodriguez, refused to leave the area. The suspect repeatedly attempted to interfere in the officer's investigation by screaming and posturing. At one point, the suspect became aggressive toward officers and was informed he would be arrested for resisting and obstructing. As officers took the suspect into custody he punched one officer in the face. During the struggle, another officer was kicked in the face. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: James N. Hennis, 31, Garden City

    Charges:Grand Theft (F), Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), Open Container (m)

    Boise Police received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on the 1500 block of Bannock street at approximately 7:00 pm on Saturday (March 27th). The victim tells police he gave the car keys to an aquantance, later identified as James Hennis, so the man could get his belongings out of the vehicle. When the victim went out to check on his car, it was gone. 

    Officers located the vehicle being driven by the suspect in an alley between 15th and 16th on Bannock street at approximately 7:30 p.m. and stopped the car. The suspect, who appeared to be under the influence at the time, failed several field sobriety tests. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect was currently suspended. The suspect had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle at the time. A blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Michael P. Pellegrini, 48, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

    Boise Police observed a vehicle with no front license plate fail to signal a lane change Saturday (March 27th) at approximately 10:00 p.m. at 36th and State and conducted a traffic stop. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .12/.09 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI, making this charge a felony and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Warrant Arrested: Kenneth E. Sparling, 23, Boise

   Warrant Charges:Aggravated Battery (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Battery yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a fight that took place on December 20th of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect struck the victim twice in the head with a closed fist causing a laceration and a broken nose at a bar on the 600 block of West Main. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

   Warrant Arrested: Jeremy L. Kelley, 33, Boise

   Warrant Charges:Malicious Injury to Property (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Malicious Injury to Property yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the spray painting of businesses causing damage to the properties on five different occasions. Evidence indicates the suspect sprayed graffiti on businesses across the valley causing damages estimated at more than $2,000.00 That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

   Warrant Arrested: David P. Goodwin, 25, Boise

   Warrant Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Failure to Appear 

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an incident that took place on February of this year. At that time the suspect was arrested on an unrelated warrant. As he was taken into custody, the suspect dropped a baggie containing a small amount of Meth. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
