    Arrested: Justin W. Corbin, 26, Boise

    Charges:Aggravated Battery (F)

    Boise Police responded to a fight in progress early this morning (February 1st) at approximately 3:30 a.m. at a residence on the 2700 block of Dennis Place. When officers arrived, they found the suspect being held down by victims inside the home and took him into custody without incident. The victims tell police the suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated, had become angry at one of the people in the home and during a confrontation the suspect retrieved a 42 inch tree branch and struck at least two people with it. Victims tell police the suspect threatened to kill several of the people at the home before he was restrained. Victims received what appeared at the time to be minor injuries in the incident. Officers believe that alcohol was a major factor in this incident. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Michelle R. Turner, 27, Boise

   Charges:Burglary (F), Battery (m)

Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 5200 block of West Franklin yesterday (January 31st) at approximately 1:30 p.m. A loss prevention employee tells Boise police that he witnessed an unknown male suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. As the employee confronted the suspect, he became combative. During the scuffle, a female, later identified as Michelle Turner, jumped onto the employee's back and yelled to the male suspect to run, before fleeing herself. Boise police later identified the female suspect and arrested her at a home on the 2200 block of Targee. Officers have evidence that the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.

   Arrested: Michelle R. Cooper, 38, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police on patrol Saturday (January 30th) at approximately 11:30 p.m. observed a vehicle with canceled registration and conducted a traffic stop near Overland and Vinnel streets. Officers contacted the driver who gave consent to search the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a glass pipe with Meth residue, a marijuana pipe with residue and a baggie containing less than a gram of meth. Officers determined the drugs belonged to the passenger, Michelle Cooper. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Dawnida L. Richards, 19, Burns OR.

   Charges:Grand Theft (F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP) (m)

    Boise Police on patrol Friday (January 29th) at approximately 11:45 p.m. observed a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Oregon. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Orchard and Janeen streets and contacted the driver. Ada County dispatch confirmed the vehicle was stolen and the suspect's license was currently suspended. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Tyron J. Birdsong Jr, 26, Boise

   Charges:2 counts of Grand Theft by Possession (F), Petit Theft (m)

    Boise Police arrested Tyron Birdsong Friday (January 29th) at approximately 2:00 p.m. after a detailed investigation into a vehicle burglary that took place on January 28th. On that date, the victim reported his vehicle had been burglarized at a home on the  4600 block of North Greer in Boise. Officers have evidence that the suspect was in possession of stolen items from that crime. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 400 block of North Milwaukee Sunday (January 31st) at approximately 3:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspects conceal items in a bag they carried and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspects entered the store with the intent to commit the thefts, resulting in the burglary charges. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
