   Arrested: Robert W. Basinger, 41, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Manufacture of Counterfeit Notes (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Arrested: Monique A. Godinez, 40, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers and Detectives, working with information provided by citizen tips, served a search warrant yesterday (February 25th) at approximately 6:30 p.m. at a residence on the 1800 block of South Curtis. Officers recovered 2.5 grams of Meth, digital scales and packaging materials, syringes, pipes and other drug paraphernalia. Officers also located evidence of the manufacture of counterfeit money, including fake bills, in the home. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Nicholas V. Sparks, 29, Meridian

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

    Boise Police observed a vehicle at the corner of 8th and Bannock with the engine running early this morning (February 26th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers saw what appeared to be a woman sitting on the drivers lap with no shirt. Officers pulled in behind the vehicle to investigate. By the time they approached the vehicle, the woman had moved to the passenger side of the vehicle and covered up. Officers made contact with the driver, who had the strong odor of alcohol on his person and appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .13/.13 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Daniel J. Hammerbeck, 48, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

Boise Police observed a with canceled registration last night (February 25th) at approximately 11:00 p.m. Officers observed the vehicle fail to stop at the stop line and instead, stopped in the crosswalk at a red light. Officers stopped the driver as the vehicle turned on to Beacon near Leadville Street. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .13/.13 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
