02-17-10 Mardi Gras celebrations prove busy but uneventful for Officers; overnight felony arrests

    Mardi Gras celebrations downtown were busy but uneventful for Officers. Boise Police had no related arrests or incidents last night. Boise Police made no felony arrests and did not incur any overtime from the event.

   Warrant Arrested: Ricardo Tamez, 31, Nampa

   Warrant Charges:Burglary (F)

  The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a retail shoplifting theft that took place on December 11th of 2009. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in a retail theft on the 8100 block of West Fairview on that day. The suspect was later identified. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
