02-02-10 Guy looks/acts odd in a local bank recently - know
Boise, Feb. 2, 2010 - Boise Police responded to a call from
employees of a local bank last week reporting that a man had walked
in appearing and acting in a way the employees deemed as odd. The
man left without receiving any bank services.
Boise Police are following up and asking the public's help in
identifying the man for questioning.
What Happened: On Wednesday, Jan 27, 2010 at approx 9:34 a.m., a
man walked into a bank on Vista Ave. just north of Kootenai St.
wearing sunglasses, a dark hoodie, and had gauze taped to his
A bank employee asked the man to remove his sunglasses, which is a
common safety precaution taken by employees of financial
Employees report the man took off the sunglasses, appeared to be
nervous, then left the bank without seeking any services.
Boise Police would like to identify the man and follow up on the
report by asking him some questions.
Suspect Description: In addition to appearances in the attached
photo, the man is described as approx 6' tall, heavy build, approx
265 lbs., estimated to be between 45 & 50 years old, grey hair
with a receeding hairline, he may have chin hair or a goatee. At
the time, he was wearing a dark hoodie, dark sunglasses, may have
been wearing brown gloves, and had gauze with medical tape covering
his chin and lower lip.
