  Arrested: Faki A. Faki, 38, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F),

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight Sunday (February 7th). at a residence on the 3900 block of West Alpine street. Victims tell police that the previous day, Saturday February 6th, the suspect had been arguing with the victim over the use of cable television. At one point, the victim says, the suspect produced a steak knife and threatened to stab him. The victim tells police he managed to calm the suspect down and no one was injured. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Mark A. Kasinger, 28, Garden City

   Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m)

    Boise Police responded to a suspicious subject Friday (February 5th) at a business on the 1200 block of North Liberty approximately 8:00 a.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect was seen digging in the flower beds. Officers located the suspect who began throwing items to the ground as officers approached. Officers recovered 12.7 grams of meth in various packages, 9 grams of marijuana and digital scales. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: John W. Harvey, 28, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Parole Violation charges

   Boise Police on patrol Friday evening (February 5th) at approximately 11:50 p.m. observed a vehicle driven by a subject without a license. Officers conducted a traffic stop near 9th and State streets. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a makeup compact with 1 gram of meth inside. Officers also recovered a pipe containing residue. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Janet L. Knowlton, 49, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), 

    Boise Police on patrol late last night (February 7th) at approximately 11:20 p.m. observed a vehicle with cancelled registration and conducted a traffic stop near Curtis and Targee streets. Officers determined the suspect had a warrant for failure to appear and placed her in custody. A search of the suspect's person revealed a glass pipe containing residue and a container with 3 grams of Meth inside. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Sean M. Smart, 29, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

    Boise Police observed a vehicle drift from its lane into oncoming traffic traveling West on Franklin Sunday (February 7th) at approximately 2:30 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .19/.18 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI, making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Ryon J. Parker, 26, Nampa

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

    Boise Police observed the suspect driving erratically before striking a concrete divider at Sate and Ellens Ferry Saturday (February 6th) at approximately 2:00 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .17/.17 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Megan P. Mitchell, 31, Boise

   Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 5200 block of West Franklin Friday (February 5th) at approximately 6:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Amanda M. Barnwell, 52, Kuna

    Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Saturday (February 6th) at approximately 6:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
