Boise Police responded to a drunken subject call on the 1000 block of Berkley street yesterday (January 27th) just after noon. Victims tell police a strange man, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, had used some kind of tool to cut through a plastic covering on a window at the home. The suspect, who is not known to the victims, then entered the home through the window. The victims, returning home, tell police they were startled when the suspect, who appeared to them to be drunk, suddenly appeared inside the house. Victims say that after a brief struggle, the suspect exited the home and the victims called police. Officers located the suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated, sitting in front of the home. The suspect did not offer an explanation for his actions. After a detailed investigation he was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
