Boise Police received a call from a concerned citizen of suspicious activity early this morning (January 20th) at approximately 1:00 a.m. in a neighborhood near Denton and Orchard. The citizen provided the description of two males who he believed did not belong in the neighborhood and had been seen walking through neighbor's yards. Officers located two suspects matching the descriptions the citizen called in and noted the two seemed to stagger as they walked. Officers noticed the odor of alcohol and slurred speech from the two men. Officers determined they had been drinking earlier that evening. Chad Mckie provided false information to police about his identity and age, resulting in the false impersonation charge. As officers took the suspect into custody, they recovered a prescription pill from his person resulting in the Controlled Substance charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
