A Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia including a syringe and scales with residue.      Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a residential burglary that took place in September of this year at a home on West State.  Evidence indicates the suspect broke into the home and stole a handgun from the owners, who are known to the suspect. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
