------------

Arrested: Terance A. Ahfong, 44, Boise

Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

Arrested: Amber R. Ahfong, 32, Boise

Charges: Injury to a Child (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(m)

Boise Police, assisting agents from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare yesterday, (December 15th) conducted a welfare check at a home on the 500 block of South Curtis at approximately 3:00 p.m. Officers who entered the home could smell the odor of fecal matter and decaying food. The carpet was completely flat and black in color from ground in material and there were fluids thrown on several walls which ran to the floor. In the bathroom, the toilet was not functioning and there was fecal matter piled up in it. In the children's bedroom, there was dirty clothing piled on the floor and both beds. In one room officers recovered a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The five children ranging in ages from 3 to 15, were placed into the custody of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. The two suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

-----------

Warrant Arrested: Tammy L. Ihrig, 47, Boise

    Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the unauthorized use of a company credit card. Evidence indicates the suspect used the credit card for her personal use over the last year as an employee at a local company. Detectives believe the suspect charged more than $3,000.00 on the card without company authorization. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
