12-09-09 Credit Union Robbery

   Boise, Dec. 9, 2009, 12:55 p.m. - Boise Police are searching for a man who reportedly robbed a credit union near downtown Boise.

   What Happened: Boise Police were called at 10:11 a.m. this morning to a report of a robbery at the credit union on the 100 blk of W. State near Fort Street. When officers arrived, witnesses said the man walked in, walked up to a teller and demanded cash. The man did not show a weapon but witnesses tell officers he gestured as if to imply he had a weapon hidden in his clothing.

   Witnesses say the man left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen leaving the credit union on foot.

   Suspect Description: The suspect described as a light-skinned male, late 20's to early 30's, thin build - 5' 10" 180 lbs, and a bushy brown mustache. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing sunglasses, a brown beanie, tan jacket, ragged-looking jeans, and carried a black backpack with blue trim.
