     Abuse of a vulnerable adult and other weekend felony arrests

      Arrested: Wilkie J. Wilkerson, 29, Boise

      Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

    Boise Police on patrol in the area of Garnet and Mercer early Sunday morning (December 6th) at approximately 1:00 a.m. observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn. As officers contacted the driver they noticed the odor of alcohol on the driver who appeared to be intoxicated at the time. The man refused to finish field sobriety tests. A blood draw was taken at the jail for later evidentiary testing. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges. The suspect has prior convictions for DUI making this a Felony DUI charge.

   Arrested: Ynonne D. Guajardo, 45, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), 2 warrant counts of failure to appear (m)

   Arrested: Desiree M. Aliniz, 28, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland Saturday (December 5th) at approximately 5:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspects conceal several items and leave the store without paying for them. Police officers believe the women entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. A check of records indicated that Ynonne Guajardo also had 2 outstanding warrants for her arrest. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

   Warrant Arrested: Jennifer S. Maul, 24, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Sexual Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Sexual Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult Friday (December 4th) at a home in Boise.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the abuse of a vulnerable adult that was reported to police in September of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect committed lewd conduct with a vulnerable female adult, under her care, at a home in Boise on or around July 30th of this year. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

   Warrant Arrested: Elmer W. Flicker, 50, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Manufacture of a Controlled Substance Sunday (December 6th).

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the growing of a marijuana plant. On October 18th of this year, officers received consent to search a residence on the 1100 block of North 29th street in Boise. Officers recovered a marijuana plant growing in the bathroom of the home. Evidence indicates the suspect had been growing the marijuana plant for later use. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

Warrant Arrested: Bobby George, 38, Boise

Warrant Charges: Issuing a Check with Insufficient Funds (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Issuing a Check with Insufficient Funds Sunday (December 6th).

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into checks issued during September of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect issued checks for debts owed exceeding $2,000.00 in value. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

Warrant Arrested: Gregory D. Fieseler, 50, Boise

Warrant Charges: Issuing a Check with Insufficient Funds (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Issuing a Check with Insufficient Funds Sunday (December 6th).

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into checks issued during October of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect issued checks for debts owed exceeding $3,000.00 in value. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
