12-04-09 Grand Theft charges top overnight felony arrests

Grand Theft charges top overnight felony arrests

-----------------

Warrant Arrested: Katina Ashcraft, 36, Caldwell

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an embezzlement case from a business on the 2600 block of West Idaho street that began in June of 2007. Evidence indicates the suspect forged payroll checks at the business and kept the money. Detectives believe this ongoing theft resulted in a financial loss of thousands of dollars for the company. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

-----------------

Warrant Arrested: Ashley N. Glandon, 20, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into stolen credit cards taken from the victim at her place of work during July of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect used the stolen credit cards to make several purchases over the last few months at various stores. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
