110209 Search for Robbery Suspect - Credit Union on Emerald

    Boise Nov. 2, 2009, 11:16 a.m. - Boise Police are searching for a man who robbed a credit union on the 10500 blk of W. Emerald, near Five Mile, about 9:45 a.m. this morning.

    Witnesses tell officers the man walked into the bank and gave an employee a note demanding cash. The note said the man had a gun although the employee did not see one. The man left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man was last seen leaving the area on foot headed north through the parking lot.

    Boise Police are releasing an updated suspect description. After investigating, officers believe the suspect may have discarded the camo jacket and sweats. The suspect is now described as: light skinned male, late 40's to early 50's, approx 5' 10" - 6', heavy set, 230 - 250 lbs, wearing a black button up dress shirt, large belly visibly hanging over belt and black dress pants, black dress shoes. The suspect has short grey hair cut over the ears, a greyish ghotee and mustache.

    Boise Police are investigating and will work with local agents of the FBI and other law enforcement agencies to see if the man fits the description of any similar crimes.
