Boise Police received a citizen's report of a vehicle burglary early this morning (November 18th) in a neighborhood near Veterans Memorial Park at approximately 1:30 a.m. Witnesses say they saw more than one man fleeing the area, after breaking the window on a vehicle. Officers located one of the suspects, Douglas Butler, hiding in bushes near the burglary scene. When officers identified themselves the suspect attempted to run away. Officers recovered stolen CD's from the suspect that had been taken during the vehicle burglary. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for minor injuries that may have been sustained as the victim's vehicle window was broken. The suspect was later booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

As officers conducted the area search for the vehicle Burglary suspects, they located Rhonda Brasil on foot in the neighborhood. As Boise Police Officers talked to the woman, a police K-9 alerted on her vehicle, indicating the likely presence of a controlled substance. Boise Police recovered several items of paraphernalia from the vehicle including a meth pipe with residue, a marijuana pipe and 1 ounce of marijuana. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

The investigation into the vehicle burglary is ongoing and no further information on the case is available at this time.
