Boise Police on patrol near Gary Lane and Saxton yesterday (November 12th) witnessed a turn signal violation and initiated a traffic stop at approximately 6:25 p.m. When officers made contact with the driver, they observed an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Officers asked the suspect to exit the vehicle to conduct field sobriety tests and discovered a glass pipe containing marijuana residue on the suspect's person. A Boise Police K-9 alerted officers to the presence of additional drugs in the vehicle and officers recovered several baggies of marijuana with a total package weight of 19 grams. Officers also recovered two ecstacy pills from the vehicle. Boise Police found evidence that the suspect had been offering drugs for sale resulting in the Intent to Deliver Felony charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Boise Police received a report of shoplifting yesterday (November 12th) at approximately 7:20 p.m. from a business on the 1500 block of West State street. Loss prevention employees tell police the suspect entered the store and selected four bottles of wine before leaving the store without paying for them. Boise Police believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charge. As officers took the suspect into custody he repeatedly kicked and fought with police. The suspect also repeatedly threatened to kill the officers as he was transported. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
