Boise Police were called by a woman in a home just southeast of Franklin & Curtis shortly after midnight this morning. The woman reported someone had thrown a flower pot through a kitchen window. Officers arrived and found the suspect lying in the woman's backyard not wearing a shirt and soaking wet.
Officers followed wet footsteps to another nearby home and found the garage door had been kicked in, and items in the garage had been soaked, apparently with a nearby garden hose. Officers also found a sweatshirt believed to belong to the suspect. The suspect does not live in the neighborhood and officers do not believe the suspect knew the residents of either home damaged. At this time, it's unclear why the suspect was in the neighborhood.
Officers estimate damage done to both homes at more than $2,000. The officers arrested the man, and during the booking process found him to be under the influence of amphetamine and marijuana.
