Boise City weekend Felony arrests of note
Arrested: Rios A. Vincente, 32, Boise
Charges: Burglary (F), Malicious Injury
Boise Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary in progress at an auto retailer on the 9800 block of West Fairview Friday (October 2nd) at approximately 11:00 p.m. Officers located the suspect hiding in a parking lot and took him into custody. Witnesses say the suspect had been kicking and damaging vehicles as he broke into them. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
Arrested: Jeanne M. Barnes, 60, Boise
Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI) (F),
Boise Police observed a driver in a parking lot who appeared to be very intoxicated Friday (October 2nd) at approximately 5:30 p.m. on the 10000 block of West Ustick. Officers warned the woman, who was stumbling as she walked, not to drive her vehicle. The suspect then got into the car and drove it in the parking lot before officers stopped her. The suspect blew a .23 at the jail. A records check through dispatch indicated the driver had a conviction for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked without incident on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Thomas A. Buchanon, 30, Boise
Warrant Charges: Lewd & Lascivious Conduct with a Minor (F)
Thomas Buchanon was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Lewd & Lascivious Conduct with a Minor yesterday (October 4th) at an East Boise home.
Boise Police received a report that the suspect had engaged in a sexual relationship with a female teenage minor under 16, over a period of time starting in December of 2008. The suspect is well known to the victim and officers have no reason at this time to believe other victims are involved. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office and resulted in the felony arrest warrant. No further information is available. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.
Warrant Arrested: Jenny E. Hamblin, 31, Boise
Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) (F)
Jenny Hamblin was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance early this morning (October 5th) at approximately 4:00 a.m.
The arrest warrant stems from a search warrant that was served in January of this year at a residence on the 2500 block of West Idaho. On that date, BANDIT officers recovered a small amount of cocaine from the home. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office and resulted in the felony arrest warrant.
The BANDIT Task Force investigates gambling, prostitution and illegal drug use. The Task Force includes Detectives from the Boise Police Department, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agency and the Idaho National Guard, working as part of a multi-jurisdictional task force called B.A.N.D.I.T. (Boise Area Narcotics and Drug Interdiction Task Force), commissioned to protect the community from illegal drug activity.
