09-16-09 Grand Theft charges top overnight arrests

     Grand theft charges top the overnight arrests in the City of Boise.

  Warrant Arrested: Beverly L. Hugo, 23, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

  Warrant Arrested: Gregory T. Olah, 23, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

  Warrant Arrested: Shasta M. Ruiz, 30, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

     The suspects were taken into custody on outstanding felony warrants for Grand Theft by Possession - yesterday (September 15th).

    The arrest warrants stem from several incidents that took place starting on June 19th of this year at several different local bank branches in Boise. On that date, the victims tell police that the suspects cashed several checks at the banks on an account that did not belong to them. The checks totaled more than $7,000.00. Boise Police Financial Crimes Detectives determined that all three of the suspects had been involved in the forgeries. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Charles D. Edwards, 48, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) (F), Probation Violation charges

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday (September 15th).

    The arrest warrant stems from an incident that took place on April 2nd of this year at a home on the 1600 block of Longmont. On that date, Idaho Probation and Parole Agents requested the assistance of Boise Police in a search the home of a probationer. Officers discovered a baggie containing a small amount of Meth in the residence. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Kimberly D. Henson, 42, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft by Possession yesterday (September 15th).

    The arrest warrant stems from an incident that took place on April 4th of this year. On that date, the victims tell police that a 4 wheeler and a scooter were stolen from a garage at a business on the 1700 block of South Vista Avenue. Boise Police Detectives, working with Ada County Deputies, later recovered the stolen vehicles from the suspects residence on the 2300 block of Skillern Drive in Ada County. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
