09-04-09 Rape and Injury to a Child charges top overnight arrests

Boise September 4th, 2009 - Rape and Injury to a Child charges top the overnight arrests in the City of Boise

    Arrested: Patrick D. Ellinger, 39, Garden City

     Charges: Rape (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a rape on the 2000 block of Dorian early this morning (September 4th) at approximately 1:36 a.m. Officers located the suspect, later identified as Patrick Ellinger and the adult female victim. The victim tells police that she had been at a local bar and had taken a taxi cab to avoid driving. She tells police that some time during the trip the suspect, the cab driver, had gotten into the back of the cab and allegedly raped her. Boise Police Detectives conducted a detailed investigation of the incident and arrested the suspect. Boise Police Victim Witness Coordinators are working with the victim. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. Further inquires should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.

    Arrested: Cory B. Hincks, 37, Boise

     Charges: Injury to a Child (F), Possession of Marijuana (m), Violation of a No Contact Order (m),

    Boise Police responded to a request to assist Idaho Probation and Parole agents at a residence on the 2500 block of South Vista Avenue yesterday (September 3rd) at approximately 5:30 p.m. During a search of the residence officers recovered 6 grams of marijuana and several items of paraphernalia. Officers determined that the suspect was also in the company of a petitioner to a no contact order. Officers have evidence that indicates the suspect had used drugs in the presence of a young child. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Michael J. Sugura, 24, Boise

     Charges: Burglary (F), Resisting/Obstructing Police (m), Carrying a Concealed Weapon (m)

    Arrested: Amy M. Ramirez, 37, Boise

     Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police investigating a burglary report identified Michael Sugura and Amy Ramirez as suspects in the theft that took place yesterday (September 3rd) at a home on the 3100 block of Centennial Avenue at approximately 10:45 p.m. Witnesses tell police that the suspects entered the home and took a television, 2 laptop computers and other personal items. During the investigation officers located the suspects at a residence on the 3100 block of South Apple. As officers spoke with other occupants, they determined that Michael Sugura was still  inside the residence and refused to come out. Eventually the suspect was caught as he attempted to climb out a bathroom window. Officers found a concealed knife on his person at the time of arrest. Both suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Cameron P. Wray, 30, Boise

   Warrant Charges:  Video Voyeurism (F)

    Cameron Wray was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Video Voyeurism yesterday (September 3rd)

    The arrest warrant stems from several incidents that took place between December of 2007 and March 30th of this year at a residence on the 2300 block of North 34th Street. The incidents were reported to police on March 31st of this year. Investigators have evidence that indicates the suspect was using a cell phone to record adult female visitors as they used the restroom, through a window. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: John W. Vivian, 45, Boise

   Warrant Charges:  Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) (F)

    John Vivian was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance (September 3rd)

    The arrest warrant stems from a search warrant that was served at residence on the 3300 block of Anderson Street on June 23rd of this year. On that date officers located officers recovered a small amount of Meth. Officers later determined that the drug belonged to the suspect. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Warrant Arrested: Michael R. Mesa, 53, Nampa

   Warrant Charges:  Obtaining Prescription Drugs by Fraud (F)

    Michael Mesa was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Obtaining Prescription Drugs by Fraud (September 3rd)

    The arrest warrant stems from an incident that took place on June 29th of this year. Witnesses tell police that on that date the suspect entered a local hospital and gave false information to obtain a prescription. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
