The victim was knocked out and officers found him slumped on the ground unconscious. Police located the suspect walking northbound on 6th street immediately after the incident and took him into custody. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what appeared to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries, at the time.     Arrested: Michael D. Anderson, 20, Boise

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Resisting/Obstructing Officers (m), Fleeing and Evading Police (m)

Boise Police on patrol in the area of Beacon and Colorado Sunday morning (August 30th) attempted to stop a vehicle for an altered exhaust and no license plate violations. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Michael Anderson, instead sped up and attempted to flee the area at a high rate of speed. Officers lost sight of the truck for a short time, then located the vehicle parked on the wrong side of the road at a residence on the 1200 block of Leadville. As officers attempted to gain entry into the building, the suspect climbed out of a bathroom window and attempted to run away. Officers deployed a taser to control the man who actively struggled and resisted attempts to restrain him. Police recovered a glass pipe containing Meth residue in one of his pockets after arrest. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Darren B. Poirer, 49, Boise

Charges: Intimidation of a States Witness (F), Disturbing the Peace (m)

Boise Police responded to a report of a fight situation in front of a residence on the 2300 block of Woodlawn Friday (August 28th) at approximately 8:30 p.m. Witnesses state that the suspect and the victim had been involved in an ongoing dispute. Over the course of the evening, the suspect had stood at the victim's door screaming and yelling obscenities at the residence. Police had been called to the location earlier in the evening for the same problem. The suspect appeared to be very intoxicated at the time. Officers determined that the victim in this case was willing to sign a citation for disturbing the peace and took the suspect into custody on that charge. As officers walked the suspect to a patrol car for transport, the suspect verbally threatened to beat the victim and threaten his life, resulting in the Intimidation of a States Witness charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
