Boise August 21st, 2009 - Burglary and drug charges top the overnight arrests in the City of Boise
Arrested: Cody J. Braden, 29, Boise
Charges: Burglary (F), Possession of Marijuana (m)
Boise Police responded to a theft at a convenience store early this morning (August 21st) at approximately 1:40 a.m. on the 1600 block of Broadway Avenue. Store employees tell police that the suspect had walked out of the store with a bottle of red wine without paying for it. Boise Police located the suspect minutes later at the intersection of Grand and Rossi streets with the stolen bottle of wine. The suspect, later identified as Cody Braden attempted to hide the bottle in his clothing as officers approached. A search of the suspect also recovered 4 grams of marijuana. Boise Police believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
Arrested: Maximo M. Medrano, 31, Boise
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance (Meth) (F),
Boise Police responded to a request for assistance from Idaho Probation and Parole agents early this morning (August 21st) at approximately 1:00 a.m. During a search of the suspects residence on the 3800 block of West Nez Perce law enforcement officials recovered a small amount of Meth. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
