Boise Police responded to a request to assist Idaho Probation and Parole Agents yesterday (Aug 4th) at a home on the 3800 block of Alameda at approximately 8:00 p.m. Officers assisting Probation and Parole agents located a total of 34 grams of Marijuana packaged in several individual baggies. Officers also located several items of paraphernalia including digital scales in the home. Boise Police have evidence that indicates the man had been offering the drugs for sale. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Joseph D. Brown, 32, Nampa

Warrant Charges:  Grand Theft by Possession (F)

Joseph Brown was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday (August 4th)

The arrest warrant stems from an incident reported to police on February 29th of 2008 at a business on the 3300 block of West State. On that date a company representative told investigators that the suspect, later identified as Joseph Brown, had been stealing money from the company over the last week and falsifying paperwork to cover the theft. Boise Police believe the suspect had embezzled more than $2,000.00 from the company. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
