Arrested: Tyler A. Weaver, 20, Boise
Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

Boise Police on patrol Friday evening (July 17th) at approximately 7:30 p.m. observed a vehicle parked in the roadway on the 300 block of Phillipi street. As officers approached the car they saw the driver slumped over with his head against the wheel. Concerned for his safety, officers approached the driver, later identified as Tyler Weaver, and determined that he and his spouse, later identified as Kayleena Weaver, were involved in an ongoing dispute. As officers spoke with the driver, he repeatedly reached beside the seat and placed his hands between his legs. Officers asked the driver to step out of the vehicle and as he did so the driver reached into his pocket and threw an item into the car. Officers conducted a pat down search of the suspect based on his unusual behavior and located a pipe containing residue (Meth). A K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the possible presence of additional drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed another pipe, tweezers, and several zip-lock baggies, one of which contained a small amount of Meth resulting in the felony possession charge. Tyler Weaver was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. Boise Police also located a pipe beneath Kayleena Weaver's seat, resulting in a misdemeanor citation for possession of paraphernalia.
Arrested: Amber D. Garcia, 18, Caldwell
Charges: Burglary (F),
Boise Police were dispatched to a report of two suspects shoplifting at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Saturday (July 18th) at approximately 2:30 p.m. Loss prevention employees tell police they observed an adult female, later identified as Amber Garcia, and a juvenile male select several clothing items before placing them in a bag and exiting the store without paying for them. Boise Police believe the pair entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charges. During the investigation, officers determined that the minor was also in possession of tobacco products. The adult female was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. The minor was taken into custody and will face Burglary (F) as well as Minor in Possession of Tobacco (m), charges.

Boise Police were dispatched to a report of a shoplifter at a retail store on the 8200 block of West Fairview Sunday (July 19th) at approximately 2:45 p.m. Loss prevention employees tell police they observed an adult female, later identified as Mabel Acuna, select two cases of beer and exit the store without paying for them. Boise Police believe the woman entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charges. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
