Boise May 27th, 2009 - Heroin delivery charges top the overnight arrest's in the city of Boise
Arrested: Penny E. Fehl-Harber, 53, Boise
Charges: Possession of Heroin with intent to deliver (F)
Boise Police officers observed a traffic violation near the intersection of Cassia and Curtis streets Tuesday (May 26th) at approximately 10:40 p.m. After making contact with the driver, later identified as Penny Fehl-Harber, officers returned to their vehicle to obtain her drivers status. As officers watched the vehicle they observed the driver moving around in the drivers seat, as though she were trying to hide something. Officers returned to the vehicle and located several grams of heroin were the suspect had been seated. A Boise Police K-9 unit responded to the scene and indicated that more items may be located in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed additional packaging materials and scales. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
Arrested: Crystal L. Nielsen, 36, Boise
Charges: Obtaining a controlled substance by fraud (F)
Boise Police were dispatched to a fraud in progress call at a retail store on the 2600 block of Broadway Tuesday (May 26th) at approximately 10:00 a.m. Loss prevention employees tell police that the suspect, later identified as Cyrstal Nielsen, had used someone else's identification to fill a prescription that did not belong to her. Police located the suspect in possession of the medication as she attempted to leave the store. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
