05-08-09 Felony DUI and Lewd Conduct charges top overnight arrests

    Boise, May 8th, 2009 - Felony DUI and Lewd Conduct charges top overnight arrests in Boise.

    Warrant Arrest: Robyn A. Sanchez-Young,24, Unknown

    Warrant Charges: Lewd Conduct with a minor (F)

    Boise Police arrested Robyn Sanchez-Young on an outstanding felony warrant yesterday on the 100 block of Americana Blvd. at approximately 5:00 p.m.

    The warrant charges stem from an incident that investigators believe took place on April 1st 2009 at a downtown home. On that date witnesses tell police that the suspect engaged in lewd conduct with a preteen child under 5. The victim and the suspect are known to each other and detectives do not have evidence indicating that there are other victims at this time.  That information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office and resulted in the felony arrest warrant.

     Arrested: Daniel L. Presley, 50, Boise

     Charges: Driving under the influence DUI (prior convictions) (F), Driving without Privileges (m),

    Boise Police officers following up on an unrelated case observed Daniel Presley operating a vehicle as he entered a parking lot on the 1600 block of River Street in Boise last night at approximately 7:00 p.m. When officers made contact with the suspect to discuss an unrelated matter, there was a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The suspect refused to complete field sobriety tests and was transported to the Ada County Jail where he blew a .29 A check of the suspects drivers status through Ada County dispatch confirmed that Presley was suspended and had prior convictions making this DUI arrest a felony charge.

     Arrested: Gregory D. Finch, 49, Boise,

     Charges: Driving under the influence DUI (prior convictions) (F), 

    Boise Police officers observed a fail to maintain its lane and speeding on Broadway at approximately 11:00 p.m. last night. Officers stopped the vehicle and Broadway and Hale. When they contacted the driver they noted the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The suspect failed field sobriety tests. A blood draw was performed to later determine the driver's blood alcohol content and the driver was transported to the Ada County jail without incident. A check of the suspect's drivers status through Ada County dispatch confirmed that Finch had prior convictions making this DUI arrest a felony charge.
