Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers received information drugs were frequently being used at a home near Emerald and Orchard. After investigating, the officer received a search warrant for the home on the 4000 block of West Irving street. The warrant was served yesterday (May 5th) at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Police found several people in the home with various items of paraphernalia present. The search resulted in the recovery of a quarter ounce of Meth, syringes, and other paraphernalia. Multiple individuals located at the residence were arrested or cited for various drug related charges detailed above. Officers have evidence the Lange was actually selling meth.

    Overnight Incident: Stabbing

Last night, May 5th, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Boise Police responded to a report of a stabbing at a bar on the 1200 block of Oakland Avenue. Witnesses tell police that the suspect walked up behind the victim, who was playing video games. The suspect reportedly made a comment to the victim about his girlfriend, then stabbed the victim from behind in the shoulder. The suspect fled the establishment on foot and several witnesses chased him across the street to an apartment complex. When officers arrived, the witnesses had caught up to the suspect and had him pinned to the ground. Officers found the suspect with what appeared to be facial injuries that apparently occurred while being detained by witnesses. Both victim and suspect were taken to a local hospital where the victim was released a short time later. At this time the suspect is still being examined by doctors.

Officers, during their investigation did find a folding knife. When the suspect is released from the hospital, officers expect he will be booked into the Ada County Jail on Felony Aggravated Battery charges. At this time, because the suspect is not yet formally charged, his name cannot be released. That information will be released when available.
