Boise May 1st, 2009 - Felony drug charges top overnight arrests in Boise

    Arrested: Brandon H. Hyatt, 24, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a controlled substance (F), Possession of prescription drugs without prescription (F), Drug paraphernalia (m), Possession of marijuna (m), Driving without privileges (m)

    Boise Police on patrol yesterday afternoon, April 30th, at approximately 2:00 p.m. saw a man they recognized as a suspended driver operating a vehicle near the intersection of Stephen Ave. and E. Pennsylvania Ave. Officers stopped the vehicle. A Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle and a search resulted in the recovery of digital scales and drug residue.

    Officers received a consent to search the suspects nearby apartment and inside the home recovered small amounts of Meth, Marijuanna, prescription tablets, pipes and other paraphernalia. The suspect was transported to the Ada County jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Warrant Arrest: Calvillo J. Montanez, 33, Kuna

    Warrant Charges: Robbery (F)

    Warrant Arrest: Alejandra M. Espinoza, 20, Kuna

    The two suspects had already been charged with the above listed warrants at the Canyon County jail where they were in custody on other charges. The two were transfered  to the Ada County Jail Yesterday. 

    The warrant charges stem from a robbery that took place on November 8th of 2008 at approximately 12:30 p.m. at a residence on the 4100 block of Nez Perce St. in Boise. At the time, victims told police that two unknown persons had entered the home, displayed a gun, and demanded money from the occupants. The suspects left the home a short time later with an undisclosed amount of money. Boise Police Detectives following up on several leads in the case gathered evidence that indicates the two suspects took part in the robbery. That information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office and resulted in the arrest warrants.

    Warrant Arrest: Monte W. Brandt, 55, Boise

    Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by possession (F)

     Monte Brandt was arrested yesterday at approximately 7:58 a.m. at a residence on the 6000 block of Glenwood Street in Boise on a warrant charge of Grand Theft.

    The warrant charges stem from an investigation into three check's cashed at a local bank starting in February of this year. The checks totaled more than $8,000 dollars. Boise Police Detectives investigating the case and gathered evidence that indicates the suspect committed the crime. That information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office and resulted in the arrest warrant.

    Warrant Arrest: Nicole D. Loeffler, 32, Nampa

    Warrant Charges: Forgery (F)

    Nicole Loeffler was arrested yesterday at approximately 6:10 p.m. on a forgery warrant at a residence on the 400 block of W. Orchard in Nampa.

    The charges stem from an incident that took place in September of 2008. The victims in the case, who live in Boise, tell police that the suspect forged several checks to herself using the victims account. Boise Police Detectives investigating the case gathered evidence that indicates the suspect forged signatures to commit the crime. That information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office and resulted in the arrest warrant.
