Arrested: Devin C. Poole, 22, Sequim, WA

    Charge (for both): Burglary (F)

Boise Police were called by loss prevention agents from a major retailer on the 2000 blk of Cole Rd. Store employees were detaining two people, a mother and adult son. Store employees say they witnesses the pair leave the store with several items, valued at more than $100 without paying. The store employees placed the pair under citizens arrest. Boise Police believe the pair entered the store with the intent of stealing, resulting in the felony burglary charge.

The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
