020509 Arrest for Running Down man in Parking Lot
Boise, Feb. 5, 2009 - Boise Police arrested a man Wednesday who was wanted for running down a man in a parking lot.
Suspect - Jack C. Barricman, 20, Boise
Charges: Agg batt (F), Driving Without Priv (m), Leaving the Scene of an Axid (m)
The incident occurred Dec. 23, 2008, approx 10:00 p.m., in a parking lot near Franklin & Five Mile in Boise.
What Happened: Boise Police were called by witnesses of the attack shortly after it happened the night of Dec. 23rd. Witnesses told officers two men were arguing, apparently over remarks made about a woman both men knew. According to witnesses, the victim was standing on the parking lot when the suspect, Barricman, intentionally ran into him with his vehicle. The victim was treated and released at the hospital for cuts and bruises.
At the time, the suspect, Barricman was cited by officers for driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.
After some investigation, officers and prosecutors issued a warrant for Barricman's arrest in connection with the battery. On Wednesday, Feb. 4th, a Boise Police Bike Patrol officer located Barricman at a park downtown and arrested him on the warrant.
