02-18-09 Delivery Of A Controlled Substance Arrest
Boise February 18th, 2009 - A overnight traffic stop results in the arrest of an Oregon man on multiple drug related charges.
What happened: ON February 17th at approximately 10:33 in the evening Boise Police Officers observed a blue Subaru wagon southbound on 13th street with no tail lights. The officer stopped the vehicle and determined the driver, mr James McDaniel had a warrant for his arrest out of Boise County. When officers searched the vehicle they located 201 grams (around a half a pound) of marijuana with a street value of roughly $1600 to $1900 dollars in the vehicle. Officers also found scales, cash, packaging materials and various paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Arrested: James B. McDaniel, 25 years old of Lincoln City Oregon
Charges: Possession of Marijuana (more than 3 oz) (F), Delivery of a controlled substance (F), Possession of drug paraphernalia (M)
