02-13-09 Missing Person Investigation - Second Anniversary

Boise, Feb. 13, 2009 - Boise Police are asking the public for any information on the whereabouts of a man reported missing two years ago this week.

Boise Police are calling Jeramy Burt an endangered missing person. Detectives are concerned due to the length of time that has passed since Mr. Burt was last seen with no information surfacing to indicate his whereabouts. Friends and family of Mr. Burt say it is very unusual of him not to have contacted his loved ones, including a young daughter, on significant occasions like holidays or birthdays.

The car Mr. Burt was last driving was found burned in the Owhyee desert in May, 2007. A thorough search of the car failed to turn up any evidence as to Burt's whereabouts.

Boise Police Detectives have been actively following leads in this case, however, none of those leads have turned up any evidence of the missing man's whereabouts. Boise Police, in cooperation with Mr. Burt's family, are asking citizens if they have any information that might help in locating him.

Missing: Jeramy C. Burt, 33 (at time of disappearance)

Description: light skinned male, brown hair, hazel eyes, 6' 2", 197 lbs. May have a goatee or a moustache. Has a 2-inch scar on his knee. Last seen wearing a dark turtleneck and Levi jeans.

Last Seen: February 11, 2007, approx. 10:30 p.m. leaving his central Boise bench home.

    Reported Missing: February 12, 2007
