12-09-08 Child Missing - Arrest Warrant Issued for Mother

    Boise, Dec. 9, 2008 - Boise Police are working with several federal law enforcement agencies and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to help a Boise family locate a missing 7 year old boy. Boise police detectives believe the child's mother kidnapped the child. Detectives are concerned the mother has left the area and taken the child. According to the boy's family, he was last known to be in BOise Nov. 26th, 2008.

    Arrest Warrant Issued for: Margaret "Maika" Dunbar-Alcalde, alias: Margaret Sanchez-Dunbar, age mid-50's, recently of Boise

    Charge: Kidnapping, 2nd degree

    Boys description: MaxGian Alcalde, Age 7,  4’ 0’’ tall,  55 lbs, Brown hair, Blue eyes.

    Boise Police are using every resource available to try and locate the boy and Ms. Dunbar-Alcalde, including federal police agencies, and NCMEC, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. At this time, detectives are concerned the pair may have left the Boise area.
