11-17-08 Collision Update
Boise, Nov. 17, 2008 - A collision between two vehicles that sent three children to the hospital remains under investigation by Boise Police.
- The children involved are from the same family, from Caldwell, and were riding in a Chevy Suburban that landed on it's roof following the collision. At this time, two of the children, ages 5 and 7 remain hospitalized. A 2 year old was treated and released.
- The 5 and 7 year old children were wearing seat belts, the 2 year old was restrained in a car seat.
- Neither driver has been cited at this time. The investigation continues.
Friday, Nov. 14 at approx. 4;30 p.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Five Mile and Franklin. Investigating officers say the Suburban, carrying the children with their father driving, was eastbound on Franklin, turning north on Five Mile. The second vehicle was a pick up truck driven by a Middleton man headed westbound through the intersection on Franklin.
Again, the investigation into the cause of the collision continues.
