08-14-08 Interstate Trafficking for Prostitution Arrests

August 14th, 2008 - Boise Police have arrested two men on charges of Interstate Trafficking for Prostitution.

What happened: On August 14th Boise Police Officers received a tip that a juvenile female had been transported to Boise from the Seattle area by Michael S. Jones and Dearrius J. Collins. Officers determined that the men had advertised the juvenile female on a classifieds web-site for prostitution in the Boise area. The suspect and the victim where located in Boise early Thursday morning in a vehicle near Curtis and Emerald. 

Further investigation revealed that the girl had indeed been brought to Boise for the purposes of solicitation of prostitution.

Arrested: Michael S. Jones 26 years old of Cincinnati Ohio

Charges: Interstate Trafficking for Prostitution (F) IC-185601

Arrested: Dearrius J. Collins 26 years old of East St. Louis Illinois

Charges: Interstate Trafficking for Prostitution (F) IC-185601

The investigation into this incident involving multiple agencies continues.  For further information refer to the Ada County Court.
