After investigating, officers arrested the man, identified as samuel Howard on 2 cts of Aggravated DUI, one count for each person injured in the crash.

Witnesses tell officers Howard drove his pick up at a high rate of speed east on Overland, hitting and SUV, forcing the SUV into oncoming traffic, striking three other vehicles. Two people were transported to nearby hospitals with serious, but apparently non-life threatening injuries. No BAC (blood alcohol level) is available at this time.

Officers checking criminal records found Sens has an extensive history of DUI arrests in several states including Texas, South Dakota, and a pending Felony DUI arrest in Idaho from September, 2006.

At the jail, inside the intoxilyzer room, Sens began to struggle with the arresting officer. The officer was assisted by Ada County Jail Deputies in getting the suspect under control, resulting in the R & O charge.
