03-03-08 Shots Fired inside Residence
Boise, March 3, 2008 - Boise Police responded to the 600 blk. of Johnson St. after neighbors reported hearing a domestic argument, then multiple shots being fired. Officers were able to make contact with the suspect by telephone but he refused to come out of the residence.
While calling out the Special Operations Unit, officers were able to determine that the suspect's wife had left the residence prior to the shots being fired.
Hostage negotiators were able to talk to the suspect and convince him to walk out of the home peacefully. Officers then issued the man a summons for firing a gun inside the city limits. All the guns inside the residence were seized.
