11-01-07 Armed Robbery - Video Store

    Boise, Nov. 1, 2007 - Boise Police are searching for a man who robbed a video store on Fairview Ave this afternoon. Witnesses tell officers the man wore a Halloween mask and a unique colored hoodie sweatshirt. 

    Officers received the call at 1:53 p.m. to the Video Mexico store on the 5200 blk. of Fairview, in the Fairview Square shopping complex. Witnesses tell officers a man wearing a Halloween mask walked by the store, peered in a window, saw customers at the counter, and walked away. After the customers left, the man walked back inside the store, told the clerk he had a weapon and demanded cash. No weapon was ever shown by the suspect. He left the store headed to a rear parking lot with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

    Witnesses say the man get into a blue Ford 4-door sedan and headed northbound on Hilton. 

   Suspect Description: The robbery suspect is described as a man with a heavy build, approx 5' 5", 220 lbs, wearing a Halloween mask, a brown hoodie with a very bright yellow or orange lining, grey pants. The suspect is a spanish speaker. 

    Halloween mask description: described as wrinkly, possibly an "old man" look.
