Missing Girl

Missing Girl

Boise, August 27, 2007 - Boise Police are asking citizens in the Magic Valley if they have any information on the whereabouts of a 13 year old girl, missing for the past month, last seen in the Jerome area.

Officers are searching for Rosalinda Villarreal, 13 of Boise. Villarreal is believed to be with Gustavo Sanchez, 19. Sanchez may be driving a maroon 1996 Nissan Pathfinder with Idaho license plates 2J 38232.

Rosalinda is described as 4' 11", 120 lbs, medium build, black hair, brown eyes (photo attached to media e-mail).

Background: Villarreal was last seen July 22nd in Jerome visiting relatives. The report was taken by Boise Police later that day. Despite working with law enforcement in the Jerome area, efforts to locate Villarreal and/or Sanchez have been unsuccessful. At this time, officers believe Villarreal is a runaway and not being held against her will. However, Officers are concerned for Villarreal's safety due to her age and the length of her disappearance.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Boise area Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
