Reward in Bank Robberies

Boise, March 16 - A reward of $5,000 is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed the Washington Mutual Bank March 7th at 6490 South Federal Way.

The man walked into the bank and displayed a handgun, demanding money from a teller.

Suspect photos from the crime are posted on the original news release dated March 7th, 2007, posted at www.boisepolice.org.

The $5,000 reward is also still offered for the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed the Washington Mutual Bank at 3550 W. State Street.

In that case, the suspect fired two gunshots during the robbery. Detectives believe the shots were meant to intimidate witnesses. Fortunately no one was hurt. Again, a photo of the suspect is posted on the original release dated Feb 14, 2007 at www.boisepolice.org.

The rewards are being offered by Washington Mutual Bank with hopes of assisitng Boise Police Detectives with further leads into the case. These rewards are in addition to a $1,000 reward available through Crime Stoppers.
