Wanted Subject Arrested Overnight
Boise, Dec. 14, 2006 - Boise Police arrested a wanted felon overnight.
The arrested occurred in a condo on the 3300 blk. of West State St., in the Silver Lake Condominium complex. Police, acting on a lead developed through a separate ongoing investigation, surrounded the condo at approx. 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police believed two men including the suspect were inside the condo, however neither responded to police orders to come outside.
Officers had information the suspect could be armed and dangerous. The Special Operations Unit (SWAT team) was called to surround the condo until a search warrant could be served. One adjacent condo was evacuated, and nearby residents were kept away from their homes as a safety precaution.
At approx. 2:00 a.m., the resident of the condo, Steve Morris walked outside and into police custody. SOU and K9 officers then entered the condo. A K9 found the suspect hiding beneath and blanket and a pile of laundry. He was taken into custody, treated at a nearby hospital for a dog bite and booked into the Ada County Jail.

Charges from Meridian PD: Eluding or Fleeing Police (F), Grand Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (F), Probation Violation (F).
