Voyeur Arrest

Voyeur Arrest

Boise December 15, 2006 - Boise Police arrested a man Thursday afternoon after several residents of a bench neighborhood reported a peeping tom.

The suspect has been seen at the windows of residences on the 1000 block of Hilton St. peeping in windows late at night. Other peeping tom incidents have been reported in the nearby neighborhoods in recent months. Whether these incidents are connected in still under investigation.

Witnesses on Hilton Street say the man would knock on the windows, be certain that he had the attention of the occupants, and then remove articles of clothing to allow him to perform sexual acts on himself in front of the occupants. Officers say victims apparently targeted by the suspect were often elderly and in poor health.

Officers obtained a suspect description from victims, and after some investigation, identified the suspect as living not far from where the peeping tom incidents occurred. The investigation report was routed to the Boise City prosecutor for review and a warrant was issued for the suspects arrest.

Arrested: Thomas Samuel Blair, 49, Boise

Charges: Voyerism
