Update: Officer Involved Shooting
Boise, Nov. 14, 2006 - CITF, Boise PD, and Ada County Sheriff's detectives have preliminary test results that show 15 rounds were fired by officers and deputies in the incident that occurred Monday, November 6th near the intersection of Five Mile & Overland. In addition, one bean bag round was fired, along with one Taser deployment.
Monday. Nov. 6 Officer involved shooting:
- 15 rounds fired
- Three Boise Police Officers fired ten rounds.
- Two Sheriff's deputies fired five rounds.
- A BPD Officer also deployed his Taser.
- A Sheriff's deputy also fired a bean bag round.

As for the investigation into the incident, as in all officer involved incidents of this type, the Ada County Critical Incident Task Force, along with involved agencies, Boise PD and the Ada County Sheriff's Office, and the Boise Ombudsman will investigate further details along with a policy and procedure review. Those investigations continue.
