Bus Driver Cited After Accident
Boise, Nov. 14, 2006 - Boise Police are investigating an accident involving two school buses that occurred in West Boise late this afternoon.
Officers responded to the accident at 3:07 p.m. near the intersection of Alfred Ct. and DeMeyer. When officers arrived, they found the driver of one bus had collided with a second bus. The second bus was parked and unoccupied. Eight middle school-age students and the driver were in the first bus. Both were full size school buses. No one was injured however the bus driver was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
Investigating officers cited the bus driver for DUI connected to the use of prescription drugs.
