Officers Investigate Shooting

    Boise, October 8, 2006 – Boise Police are investigating a shooting that happened

overnight on the 1400 block of Cormorant.

    Just after 0400 am, officers responded to a residence after a report of a domestic

disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found a male subject outside, and sounds of a struggle inside.

They made entry into the residence and located a male and a female involved in an altercation.

The male subject inside the residence was suffering from a gunshot wound. The female subject,

identified as 19 yr. old Kayla Sullivan, was detained and later arrested for Aggravated Battery.

Police believe that she fired the shot that injured the male subject. Boise Police Detectives

continue to investigate, and the names of the other parties involved have not been released.

    The male subject injured by the gunshot was transported to a local hospital. Police are not

releasing information on his condition.
