Update: Jackson's Armed Robbery

Boise, Sept. 6, 2006 - Boise Police are hoping a photo, just released from a convenience store armed robbery last week will help identify a suspect.

The robbery occurred at the Jackson's Food Store at 8th & Fort at 10:44 p.m. Sunday, August 27th. Witnesses say the man walked into the store with a weapon that appeared to be a sawed off shotgun and demanded money. He was last seen riding a mountain bike headed north into the North End residential area.

The suspect is described as a white man, early 20's with visible acne scars on his face. He had dirty reddish-blonde hair with long sideburns. He has a slight build, about 5' 4" - 5'5", 140 lbs. He wore a dark baseball cap, white t-shirt and long blue denim shorts.

Anyone with any information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 343-COPS. Information leading to the identity of the suspect could be worth a reward up to $1,000.
